SUPPORT FOR ZAMBIAN STRING PLAYERS

Nyimbo Pamodzi (Music Together) Camp is a not-for-profit music initiative in Lusaka, Zambia, created to bring together and inspire young string and piano players aged 8–16. There is a growing interest in string instruments, with more young musicians learning and performing in schools, churches, and community settings. Nyimbo Pamodzi aims to unite these musicians for a shared musical experience. Inspired by the unifying spirit of Kenneth Kaunda Day and the phrase “Tiyende pamodzi ndi mtima umo” (“Let’s walk together with one heart”), the camp fosters growth, connection, and excellence in music - together. All donations will directly support young Zambian musicians. The goal is to help fund scholarships that enable them to attend the annual camp, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent talented students from participating. $150 sponsors a student for the full week programme but any amount would be appreciated to help them reach their fundraising goals.
